WhatsApp “TikTok like-and-earn” job scam
A multilingual recruiter offers “easy work liking TikTok videos for $5/hr”. After a small payout, victims are pushed to deposit funds to “unlock VIP tasks” — at which point all funds are stolen.

Warning signs
- +44, +1 or +91 numbers contacting you with no LinkedIn/CV trail
- Telegram group invitations with “HR Manager” avatars
- Promise of $10–$50 USDT trial payout in first 24 hours
- Requests to install a Telegram or Coinbase app via APK link
What to do
Defenses
- 1Never accept jobs requesting deposits to “unlock tasks”.
- 2Report and block on WhatsApp. Forward the chat to your country’s CERT.
- 3Run an Antivirus.com scan if you installed any APK from the chat.
